Mojani & land-records support

Practical survey and document support for landowners navigating land measurement in Maharashtra.

The right starting point

Built around your purpose.

When a land measurement involves records as well as the site, it helps to organise the information first. We discuss the purpose of your enquiry, review the documents available and identify the private survey work that may support it. Official Mojani applications and measurements are handled by the Maharashtra Land Records Department.

Who this is for

Landowners who want to understand their site information and prepare for an official measurement enquiry in Maharashtra.

Your deliverables

What the scope can include

  • A review of the survey-related documents and reference plans you provide.
  • A list of missing site information or survey references to clarify.
  • A private measured drawing or comparison plan where included in the scope.
  • An explanation of the survey findings and the questions to take to the appropriate office.

Final deliverables are confirmed in your project proposal.

Before the field visit

What to have ready

  • Share the village, taluka, district and Gat, Survey or CTS number, as applicable.
  • Keep available 7/12 extracts, property cards, earlier measurement plans and layout drawings ready.
  • Provide any existing application reference or correspondence relevant to the survey brief.
  • Explain whether the purpose is measurement, purchase verification, marking or a discrepancy in records.

How it works

From brief to handover.

A shared understanding of the scope keeps field work and the final deliverable focused on what you need.

01

Understand the enquiry

We clarify what you need from the measurement and which records are available.

02

Review the references

The available plans and site information are reviewed for the proposed survey work.

03

Scope support

We agree any private field measurement, drawing or document support required.

04

Explain next steps

We distinguish our survey outputs from the official process and point you to the relevant government service.

A clear scope matters

Know what your survey covers.

Shubham Surveyors is a private surveying firm. Our support does not replace an official Mojani, change land records or guarantee a decision by a government office. Official fees and timelines are set by the relevant authority.

Your questions

Before you book.

Have a specific drawing or specification? Send it to the team with your enquiry.

Where can I apply for official Mojani?

The Maharashtra government provides land-record services through Mahabhumi, including e-Mojni. Use the official portal to find the current service and application route for your area.

Is a private survey the same as official Mojani?

They serve different purposes. A private survey provides measurements and drawings within an agreed brief. Official measurement follows the Land Records Department’s process.

Are all documents listed here mandatory?

No. They are useful starting references for discussing our survey scope. The applicable government service determines its own required documents; check the current requirements with that office or portal.

Can you guarantee an application date or outcome?

No. We can agree a programme for our own survey support. Scheduling, record decisions and the outcome of an official application remain with the relevant authority.
